Inaugurated in 1992, this remarkable event draws nearly 700 business, education, civic, cultural and community-minded individuals from across the Chicagoland area. Guests are afforded a unique opportunity to engage with a diverse audience, while demonstrating their commitment to art and culture. All tickets will be held at the door. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Proceeds will benefit the museum’s educational programs and exhibitions. Past honorees have included Sherri Shepherd, Melvin Van Peebles, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Lerone Bennett Jr., Quincy Jones, Michael Jordan, Mavis Staples, and Robert Townsend among others.
