“A Man Named Pearl”

In conjunction with the exhibit, “PLACES FOR THE SPIRIT: TRADITIONAL AFRICAN AMERICANS GARDENS, we present a fascinating 2-day event with world renowned abstract topiary artist, PEARL FRYAR! This event includes a special presentation led by Pearl Fryar, where he shares images of his dazzling topiary sculptures garden. Mr. Fryar will also talk about his journey from a small town sharecropper’s son to an internationally-acclaimed artist.
