“Hoperaworld Music: Chronicles of a Fallen Hero” A Hip-Hop Opera

“Chronicles of a Fallen Hero” a hip-hop opera composed by Adrian Dunn, is a full length production featuring original music which follows the life of the fictional Obadiah King, a young African American Chicagoan and his internal struggles with family, race and loss. Fusing classical and popular vocals, dancers and hip-hop artists, this performance presents Obadiah’s struggles, emotional angst and victory in beating the odds.
