The DuSable will herald the closing of its latest attendance record-breaking exhibition,” Freedom’s Sisters,” with a program celebrating the songs and music of the Civil Rights Movement. Staged in a manner similar to the “Do It Yourself Messiah,”
“Let Freedom Sing!” will utilize a discussion-performance format to celebrate the songs that provided the motivational soundtrack for the Civil Rights Movement.
