My Sister’s Keeper: The significance and legacy of Historical Black Women’s Organizations…

For generations, black women’s organizations have significantly impacted the African American community as well as civil society itself. In honor of the continued contributions of the oldest and most distinguished Black women’s groups, representatives from these prestigious organizations will share their history and offer insight on the responsibility of maintaining the mission of their founders as well as the daily task of promoting and demonstrating sisterhood.
