In Partnership With WTTW-Channel 11: ‘Readers are Leaders’ Summer Tour

The WTTW Kids Readers Are Leaders tour, with special guest Miss Lori, from Miss Lori’s CAMPUS, will join the DuSable Museum family on Sunday, August 16th, Noon-1:30pm, to offer exciting activities, story-telling along with a remarkable literacy exploration. Join us for stories and songs with Miss Lori. Stay for story time with Mr. Brandon! Performances are perfect for families with children in preschool through early elementary school. The first 200 children in the audience at each FREE performance will receive a goody bag that includes a FREE children’s book!

Following the outdoor festivites, visitors will be invited into the museum to experience the historical journey and contributions of peerless African Americans. Admission is free of charge, thanks to the generous support of Bank of America’s Free Sundays.

The WTTW Kids Readers Are Leaders performances are made possible by Wisconsin Dells, Carlson For Kids Nutritional Supplements, Chicago MomsLikeMe.com, Amtrak, and Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic Schools. Additional support provided by HarperCollins Children’s Books, publishers of the works of Shel Silverstein.
