Dr. Margaret T. Burroughs, founder of the DuSable Museum of African American History will be the special guest of noted poet and author, Ginger Mance at the national launch of “Rebirth in Light: Poems for the First Family.”

This new release, “Rebirth in Light” honors the Inauguration of the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama and is a new collection of poems written especially for and dedicated to the First Family.

Tuesday—Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, 12 p.m to 5 p.m.

DuSable Museum is closed on Mondays,
between June 1st—January 2nd
