The DuSable Museum of African American History and the National Museum of Mexican Art will present a family program that introduces the participants to the historical background to the national traveling exhibition, entitled ‘African Presence in Mexico’, which is slated to be housed at DuSable Museum in 2011. The historical presentation will culminate with an hands -on print making workshop that is age appropriate for families and middle to high school aged children. The workshop will be faciliated by a professional artist and the museums’ educational staffs.

DuSable Museum is open:
Tuesday—Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, 12 p.m to 5 p.m.

DuSable Museum is closed on Mondays,
between June 1st—January 2nd
(with exception of school holidays)
