 INVENTIONS

DOUGLAS EWART & INVENTIONS 2

Minneapolis-based composer and multi-instrumentalist Douglas Ewart along with his Inventions, are among the nation’s finest musicians. This “genre defying band” includes Ewart’s fellow Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians (AACM) members Ed Wilkerson, Jr. (Shadow Vignettes, 8 Bold Souls) and Mwata Bowden, the propulsive bass of Darius Savage, and the swinging rhythms of drummer Dashun Mosley. The all-star ensemble also includes singer/poet Mankwe Ndosi and poet Duriel Harris.
