Table of Brotherhood Tour
On August 28, 2011, The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., National Memorial will be unveiled in Washington D.C. The monument will pay tribute to Dr. King’s legacy and remind future generations of his timeless message.
Chevrolet is proud to help raise awareness of the memorial through the “Table of Brotherhood Tour,” taking place this summer in four U.S. cities, including Washington, D.C.
CNN’s Roland Martin will host a conversation on August 20th in Chicago at The DuSable Museum of African American History, about issues as relevant and poignant today as they were when Dr. King spoke about them decades ago:
• The Future of Education
• Realizing the Dream: Freedom, Racism and Progress
• The Future of our Youth
• Civil Rights Progress: A Look Back/A Look Forward
We’re excited to bring the tour to Chicago on August 20th, aspiring to bring Dr. King’s dream to life.
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood.
— Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Chevrolet invites you to attend the event as a valued guest, and we hope the conversation will inspire you to spread the word in your community, at your place of work, among family and friends. I hope to see you there.
We encourage you to visit www.chevrolet.com/MLK in advance of the event to take part in the conversation.
