The Excavation of the Tomb of Karakhamun and the ASA Restoration Project
Join Anthony T. Browder, Director of the ASA Restoration Project, in a discussion of the recent discoveries made during the excavation of the 25th dynasty tomb of Karakhamun in Luxor, Egypt. The ASA Restoration Project was established in 2008 to honor the legacy of Dr. Asa G. Hilliard, III. It is the first African American organization to fund and fully participate in the excavation, conservation and restoration of an Egyptian Tomb. Following the discussion, Mr. Browder will autograph copies of his latest publication, Finding Karakhamun: The Collaborative Rediscovery of a Lost Tomb.
