From Dreams to Determination: The Legacy of Doctors Percy and Anna Julian

Exhibit Details
Opening Date: October 20, 2006
Closing Date: December 15, 2007

Dr. Percy Lavon Julian, a renowned scientist in the field of chemistry, and his wife Dr. Anna Johnson Julian, a social activist and change agent, hold prominent footnotes in the annuals of American history. However, such as many facets of the contributions of African Americans to history, the story of the Julian’s is largely omitted and rarely told. This exhibition, From Dreams to Determination: The Legacy of Doctors Percy and Anna Julian, intends to bring to the forefront their footnote in American history and honor the fascinating legacy of two African Americans whose lives impacted all of humanity.
